Lady Gaga in Atsuko Kudo Latex
2009 pop sensation Lady GaGa recently spent a night on the London party circuit head to toe in Atsuko Kudo latex. Aswell as many of the tabloids, celebrity gossip blogger, Perez Hilton ran the story and approved of her 'PVC' outfit - though he seemed to be very concerned about her wearing it in the cold London weather! We’re happy she gave everyone a sneak preview of one of our new items – the Rosette hat which is already available in our London store and will be in the online shop soon as part of our new collection for 2009.

Last Friday 13th February saw the Prada flagship store in New York launch Fashion Week with a ‘re-mixed’ look created by W magazine fashion editor, Alex White. Alex chose to use some Atsuko Kudo leopard print socks and stockings to give some extra va-va-voom to some of the mannequins! One of our favourite AK models, Darenzia, was in attendance at the party - resplendent in Atsuko Kudo lace print - and as a result hitting the pages of Fashion Week Daily

Atsuko Kudo Valentine feature in Metro
We got a great mention in Metro, London's free paper on the 11th February.
'...If you really want to vamp it up, Simon Hoare at Atsuko Kudo, specialists in couture latex design, suggests a red corset with matching hearts. "It implies your whole body is shaped for love - how sexy is that".
And if you're stuck for present ideas, ditch the predictable roses and buy her a pair of latex hearts: "They are worn on the breasts and are the ultimate sign of intent," says Hoare. "They are flirtatious, sensual and very sexy - the ultimate gesture for any Valentine."

Atsuko Kudo for MAC/Hello Kitty makeup
MAC cosmetics and Hello Kitty have joined forces to create a special range of Hello Kitty themed make up. Here at Atsuko Kudo we were happy to be commissioned to make some of the clothing for the models in the launch campaign. The images are styled by uber stylist, Katy England and photographed by the ever envelope pushing Nick Knight. Having happily made a specially styled catsuit and a variety of accessories and bows we are now very pleased to see the full effect in these pictures.
The pieces we made for M·A·C/Hello Kitty have now been donated to the Museum at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York.
If you’d like to see more of these looks and perhaps taste a little of the Hello Kitty ‘controversy’ it’s causing online right now please follow the link: Atsuko Kudo/MAC/Hello Kitty
If you’d like to order a catsuit just like the one in the pictures – you know where we live!
